The children's television show “Yo Gabba Gabba!” currently airs on the cable network Nick Jr. in the U.S. and in Australia, Italy, Ireland the U.K. on the Nick Jr. networks. In Canada the show appears on Treehouse TV. The show was created by Scott Schultz and Aquabats lead singer Christian Jacobs. The program is produced by Wildbrain Entertainment and The Magic Store. The series first premiered on Nick Jr. on August 20, 2007 and started broadcasting on Noggin (which is now Nick Jr.) on February 23, 2008.

In April 2008, “Yo Gabba Gabba!” was nominated for the Daytime Emmy's Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design/Styling award. Although the show was created for young children, the program has become popular among college students, teenagers and some parents who find their enjoyable story lines, bright colors and style entertaining along with the music that is played by popular bands.

The series is hosted by the DJ Lance Rock character and features segments that feature costumed cartoonish characters like Plex, Toodee, Brobee, Foofa and Muno and also includes musical numbers and short animated sketches.

The show has featured a wide array of guests, including The Ting Tings, MGMT, Mates of States, Hot Hot Heat, Chromeo, Of Montreal, Joy Zipper, The Clientele Enon, The Aquabats, Sean Kingston, The Salteens, Mya, Elijah Wood, Laila Ali, Low, The Roots, Tony Hawk, Sugarland, The Postmarks, Rahzel, Mark Mothersbaugh, Supernova, Shiny Toy Guns, Biz Markie, Cornelius, Andy Samberg, The Aggrolites, The Shins, Leslie Hall and Jack Black.
