The American country singer Tim McGraw was born in Delhi, Louisiana on May 1, 1967. Many of the singles and albums of McGraw's have topped country music charts, resulting in total album sales for him of over 40 million copies. McGraw is carried to Faith Hill, another country music superstar, and is Tug McGraw's son, the former baseball player. McGraw's trademark hit singles include “Live Like You Were Dying,” “It's Your Love” (which features Faith Hill), “Something Like That,” “I Love It,” “Don't Take the Girl” and “Indian Outlaw.”

McGraw had eleven albums in a row debut in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's album chart in addition to twenty one No. 1 hit singles on Billboard's Hot Country 100 chart. He has also had three singles that were the number one ranked country song for the year (“Live Like You Were Dying,” “Just To See You Smile” and “It's Your Love”). McGraw has won three People's Choice Awards, ten American Music awards, eleven Country Music Association awards, fourteen Academy of Country Music awards and three Grammys. McGraw and Faith Hill's “Soul2Soul II Tour” is country music's all-time highest grossing tour, and for all musical genres is among the top five.

Tim McGraw is also an actor. He had a leading role in 2006 in “Flicka” and supporting roles in “Four Christmases” (with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn), “The Kingdom,” “Friday Night Lights” and with Sandra Bullock in “The Blind Side.”
