Sugarland, the country music duo, is comprised of lead vocalist Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush (lead vocals, background vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica and mandolin). Sugarland was established in 2002 by Bush and Kristen Hall and became a trio after Jennifer Nettles was hired as the lead singer. Hall left the band after three years.

In 2004, Sugarland signed with Mercury Nashville Records. That year they released “Twice the Speed of Life,” which included “Baby Girl,” their debut, breakthrough single. In 2006, Hall left and the group became a duo. “Enjoy the Ride,” the group's second album, was released in 2006 and spawned two No. 1 singles: “Settlin'” and “Want To.” For “Stay” Sugarland won a Grammy Award. “Love on the Inside,” their third album, was released in 2008. Three No. 1 singles came off that album: “It Happens,” “Already Gone” and “All I Want to Do.” “The Incredible Machine,” Sugarland's fourth album, was released in October 2010 in both standard and deluxe editions. “The Incredible Machine” has been certified platinum. The physical album sales of Sugarland's is more than 9 million copies. They have also sold 5 million copies in digital track format.
