Shakira released “Pies Descalzos” in 1995, which made her famous in Spain and Latin America. “Donde Estan los Ladrones,” her 1998 album, sold more than 10 million worldwide copies and was a critical success. “Whenever, Whenever,” Shakira's first English single, was released in 2001, followed by the album “Laundry Service.” The set sold more than 15 million worldwide copies. Two albums were released by Shakira in 2005: “Oral Fixation” Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, which included her top selling song “Hips Don't Lie.”
