Hunter Easton Hayes is a country music singer-songwriter. He is also known for his ability to play multiple instruments. Hayes, famously, became attracted to music at an early age of two when his grandmother gave him a toy accordion which started him on his musical journey. By the age of four, he had already started making appearances at locally and on national television.

He is currently contracted to Atlantic Records Nashville, and released his debut album by his own name in October 2011. The album was a massive hit and includes the Top 15 country single “Storm Warning” and the number 1 singles “Wanted” and “Somebody’s Heartbreak”. The album was re-issued in 2013 and included an additional track “I Want Crazy” which went on to become the album’s fourth single.

In 2008, Universal Music Publishing Group signed him, and he moved from his hometown of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010, he co-write “Play” for the Rascal Flatts album Nothing Like This. Also in September 2010, Hayes started work on what would become his major-label debut album and signed up with Atlantic Records Nashville.

In recognition of his ability to play multiple instruments, especially guitar, Martin Guitars named Hayes as C.F. Martin & Co.’s brand ambassador in May 2012.

To honor his achievements in music, on September 7, 2012, two days short of his 21st birthday, during a benefit concert for the Oschner Pediatrics, he was inducted, as the youngest member, into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana.
