Nick Jonas Goes Solo on 2010 Tour

The Jonas’ are back on tour in 2010 — well Nick Jonas that is. Nick has departed from the fold for a solo tour with his side band the Administration that starts in Dallas, Texas on January 2 and finishes up January 30 in Berkeley, California. Tickets for select dates go onsale on Ticketmaster this Saturday (12/5). Team Jonas is making presale tickets available today (12/1) at 4pm. Full Nick Jonas tour dates are listed below. For those of you looking to get a sneak peek at his latest project, Nick Jonas and the Administration will also be making an appearance on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live! Special that will air on CBS Wednesday, December 2 at 9pm.

This latest tour will support his forthcoming release “Who I Am” which hits stores on February 2 via Hollywood Records. On the studio album, Nick was joined by guitarist David Ryan Harris, drummer Michael Bland, keyboardist Tommy Barbarella and bassist John Fields. When asked where these songs derived from, Jonas said in a press statement, “three years worth of song ideas not quite right for the Jonas Brothers.” “Who I Am” is actually a follow-up album for Nick Jonas. His debut effort was entitled “Nicholas Jonas” and was released in 2004 when he was only 12. Brothers Kevin and Joe both contributed to his early work.

The Jonas Brothers wrapped a heavy summer of touring a few months back in support of their 2008 release “A Little Bit Longer.”
