Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler to Reunite Taylor Swift, Kanye at VMA

“I’d like to get them together, is what I’d like to get”.  That’s Chelsea Handler referring to a “possible” Kanye West – Taylor Swift reunion and dishing out some insights on the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards where she’ll be hosting the gig solo on September 12, Sunday at 9 PM ET.

Handler took the time out to do some radio chit-chat with fellow E! Network host Ryan Seacrest yesterday. “We’ll try to think of something clever to do with them” was Handler’s reply on the speculated reunion amidst Seacrest’s efforts to squeeze the juiciest info out of the late-night comedienne’s lips.

It was earlier reported that the two chart-toppers were supposed to team up on an episode of Saturday Night Live months after an erratic and allegedly drunk Kanye West stole the show from last year’s biggest VMA winner Taylor Swift have made news and forced the narcissistic R&B/hip-hop artist to exile himself temporarily from the limelight.

It has been confirmed that West will be attending the awards show this year but no word yet if he’ll be performing as well.  Meanwhile, Swift’s name is nowhere to be seen on the star-studded guest list.

In other but related VMA news, Handler also shared that Lady Gaga wasn’t also among the handful of artists scheduled to perform at the awards show but there’s a huge possibility that the “Chelsea Lately” host will be drawing out some comedic material from the utterly distinctive top-selling artist.

“We’ll probably end up wearing the same outfit”, says Handler.  Sounds to me like a sneak preview of the hilarity we should all expect from the show.

Chelsea Handler Embarks on Comedy Tour with New Book

It really isn’t surprising that Chelsea Handler, host and comedian of E!’s show “Chelsea Lately” will be partnering with Belvedere Vodka. However the partnership will be sponsoring more than complete inebriation. The author’s latest tour, “Are You there Vodka, It’s Me Chelsea” will be presented by Belvedere.

Handler’s “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang Tour” will make it’s way to 21 U.S. Cities supporting “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang,” the author’s third book. On March 9 the new book will be out in stores. It features more candid stories concerning Handler’s family, career and sex life, as has been chronicled in previous best sellers by Handler.

Handling, speaking about her new tour said, recently I’ve made a living making fun of just about everyone in Hollywood. For this tour I would like to take it as an opportunity for getting back to my own roots. I want to poke some fun at myself as well as the rest of the U.S. and Spain of course.

The tour of 21 dates will be kicking off in Chicago on March 10 at Rosemont Theatre. It will close out on May 15 in New York at the Radio City Music Hall. Handler, in addition to doing stand-up shows will make appearances in bookstores to meet with her fans and sign books. A full listing of Chelsea Handler tour dates are listed below.

Private after-parties will be hosted by Belvedere Vodka on Handler’s tour. She admitted on her show that Belvedere vodka would be the only vodka on her tour. Charles Gibson of Belvedere said, last year we were thrilled that Chelsea chose us as her preferred and favorite vodka. As a connoisseur of vodka, her choosing Belvedere is quite a testament to our vodka’s quality. We are delighted to be able to support this exciting tour.
