Bullet For My Valentine and Black Veil Brides are teaming up for a for a tour this fall.
Right now, 11 dates have been announced for the tour, which kicks off September 28 with a show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The trek will then run at least through November 11, when the groups play the State Theater in Portland, Maine. Other cities now on the schedule include Portland, Oregon; Seattle; Madison, Wisconsin; Columbus, Ohio and Montreal, and more dates are expected to be announced soon.
“This is hands down going to be one of our best tours ever,” said Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack. “We can’t wait to see our fans out in force and show Bullet For My Valentine what the BVB Army is all about. Black Veil Brides are excited to be a part of this one.”
Both bands released new albums earlier this year, and will be using the tour to support those records.
Black Veil Brides released Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones in January, and is the band’s third studio album. It came out two years after the group’s sophomore effort, Set the World on Fire. The band currently is on tour with the Van’s Warped Tour, where it is playing on the main stage of the traveling festival. The band will stay with the tour until it ends in early August.
Bullet For My Valentine released their fourth album, Temper Temper in February of this year. The album is the first for the band since 2010’s Fever. That album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, largely due to the success of the band’s first two albums, The Poison and Scream Aim Fire.
Between now and the beginning of the newly announced tour, the band is making the European festival rounds, and also will appear at two festivals in Japan.
Black Veil Brides will kick off 2013 with a new tour and a new concept album, Wretched and Divine.
The band will hit the road January 4, 2013 with a show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas, and are scheduled to stay on North American highways through a March 9 show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. The band will play cities all over the continent between those dates, including Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle and San Francisco.
During that time the band will also make the jump across the Atlantic for a short U.K. Tour that will last for the first half of February, and then they will come back and resume the North American tour just two days after their final show in London. If all that wasn’t enough, after taking less than a month break after that aforementioned March 9 show, the group will kick off a European tour on April 5 that will keep them busy through the end of that month.
All of this will be to support Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, which will be released January 8, 2013. The record is the third studio album by the band, and features 19 songs telling the story of the titular Wild Ones.
“It’s a ‘V for Vendetta’-esque story where this bad guy organization called F.E.A.R. Takes away science and creativity from man, and I suppose is a parallel to the religious and political upbringing of all of us in small towns in America,” Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack recently told Hollywood Music Magazine.
The first single from the album, “In The End” is offered as an instant download to anyone pre-ordering the album on iTunes. The record was originally set to be released at the end of October but was later pushed back into 2013.
