How long is a Lady Antebellum concert?
Clocking in at 85-95 minutes, Lady Antebellum sets are sharp and direct, never overstaying their welcome while delivering the goods in a compact period of time. That is not to say that the group hasn’t occasionally stretched their standard show length, including the group’s three hour set at the Pepsi Center following Hillary’s extensive maternity leave. But the band has a tenacity for barreling through their set, pulling from across all four studio albums. Songs have a tendency to stay true to their studio version, which may be disappointing for fans that expect a bit of variety in the live material.

Who is opening for Lady Antebellum on the Take Me Downtown tour?
The tour is bringing out opening acts Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves. Musgraves is a close friend of the group, having already been out on tour with them in both 2011 and 2012. The classically inspired country artist is out supporting her major label debut album, Same Trailer Different Park.

Kip Moore is signed to the Nashville sect of major label MCA, and he released his debut album Up All Night in 2012. Though the album is starting to get a bit long in the tooth, the songs have enough staying power to impress the crowd with his mixture of down-to-Earth country-rock.

What songs will Lady Antebellum play in concert?
The group has explored a few covers outside their traditional country-pop formula. Daft Punk’s own disco-funk track “Get Lucky” was rather popular in 2013, and is expected to carryover as a main setlist pick into 2014. The band vies for the attention of the classic rock crowd with their fresh rendition of Tom Petty’s classic, “I Won’t Back Down.” During a given set, they’ll do either the Tom petty cover or the grossly overlooked Bob Dylan masterpiece, “Man of Constant Sorrow.” These two seem to rotate out, and the band rarely plays over three covers a night.

Interestingly, the last cover is almost always a modern Anna Kendrick track. “When I’m Gone” is a popular choice, as well as “Cups” which closed the group’s soaring performance in Grand Rapids. It is an intriguing choice to close the evening with a cover, especially one not as well known. But the band nearly always plays their jaw-dropping modern pop ballad, “Need You Now,” when they return to the stage to begin their encore.

Will I hear anything from the Christmas album?
Lady Antebellum’s 2012 Christmas record was quite a treat for fans, but it will remain underappreciated in the 2014 tour. The band will be leaning towards material from their 2013 release, Golden, and their breakthrough Grammy winner, Own the Night. Though the Christmas album, On This Winter’s Night, is a charming collective of original and holiday season standards, it is not compelling enough to force it into the set outside the winter season.

How do I get access to presale tickets for Lady Antebellum’s tour?
Lady Antebellum has a fan club known as Team Lady A. There are various tiers for fan club members. VIP members can get access to presale tickets weeks in advance of any public onsale. They also get access to a number of other items and features for their $29.99. Digital members ($14.99) receive presales usually a day after VIP members, and subsequent free members get access to presales the following day.

All tickets are obtained through the band’s official website. But there are other wasy to obtain presale tickets. Lady Antebellum features various radio, venue and promoter presales. No! She gave birth to a wonderful little girl named Eisele Kaye Tyrell July 2013, though fans are well aware that she was very pregnant on a tour early 2013. Hillary Scott is also married to Chris Tyrell, current drummer of the band.
