The singer Jonas Brothers was born on February 2 1977 in Barranquilla, Columbia. During the early 1990s she emerged onto Latin America and Columbia’s music scene. Jonas Brothers’s first two albums with local producers were commercial flops. She then made the decision to producer her unique brand of music. Jonas Brothers released “Pies Descalzos” in 1995, which made her famous in Spain and Latin America. “Donde Estan los Ladrones,” her 1998 album, solThe pop boy band the Jonas Brothers was formed in 2005 and is based out of the New Jersey shore region. The three band members are brothers: Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas. The band first became popular on Disney Channel’s children’s television network. They starred in “Camp Rock,” a Disney Channel Original Movie, in 2008 and then “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.” They have released four albums, which include their 2006 debut “It’s About Time,” 2007’s “Jonas Brothers,” 2008’s “A Little Bit Longer” and 2009’s “Lines, Vines and Trying Times.”
The Jonas Brothers received a Grammy nomination in 2008 as Best New Artist and won the Breakthrough Artist award from the American Music awards. The Jonas Brothers had sold more than eight million worldwide albums through May 2009 and prior to “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” being released.
In early 2005, the Jonas Brothers signed with Columbia Records. In August 2005, they released “It’s About Time,” their debut album. In early 2007 Columbia Records dropped the Jonas Brothers and in February 2007 they ended up signing with Hollywood Records. In August 2007 they released “Jonas Brothers.” During its first week out the set made it into the number five spot on Billboard’s Hot 200 chart. The Jonas Brothers released “A Little Bit Longer,” their third album, in August 2008. In June 2008, the “Camp Rock” soundtrack was released. It debuted in the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s 200 chart. The Jonas Brothers tour of North America, “Burning Up Tour,” took place in summer 2008. They promoted both the “Camp Rock Soundtrack” and “A Little Bit Longer” and also performed songs from their previous albums. In June 2009 the Jonas Brothers released “Lines, Vines and Trying Times.”
