Frequently Asked Questions
What does Kip Moore play in concert?
This is Kip Moore’s first headlining run, and he is bringing out more energy, a longer setlist, and some friends along for the trek. Kip Moore does not have the most extensive setlist, even on a headlining outing. The artist has one studio release to his name: 2012’s Up All Night, which sold close to 400,000 records as of late 2013, and is one of the best performers in MCA Nashville’s roster.
The album only has 11 songs on the traditional version and 14 on the deluxe. This does not leave much room for Kip Moore to maneuver, and he performs nearly every song on the record. He often leaves one or two of the same tracks off the setlist: “Faith When I Fall” which is the record’s closing number and “Where You Are Tonight” which is a non-single deep album cut. Aside from these two exceptions, the artist plays the majority of the rest of the record at most shows.
Crazy One More Time
She’s Gonna Wreck Your Heart
Reckless (Still Growin’ Up)
Beer Money
Get Into Somethin’
Dirt Road
Hey Pretty Girl/Stand By Me
Fly Again
Come & Get It
Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck
How about some new songs?
Kip Moore is set to release his sophomore record in late 2014 or early 2015. He performs its first single, “Young Love,” at every single show, and is the only new song consistently performed at shows.
There are about three other new songs which appear on a number of setlists in a sort of rotating door. “Come & Get It” is the first, followed by “Dirt Road” and “Get into Somethin.” Though fans do not recognize the songs, they still get quite a lot of fan appreciation.
Though the setlist is only 10 songs on average, Kip Moore is a big talker. Perhaps he is so engaged with the audience in an effort to pad out the setlist, but his charming sensibility and openness is something you should absolutely expect on the tour.
How long is a Kip Moore concert?
Kip Moore only plays for about 60 minutes as the headlining act of the evening.
Who is opening the show?
This is actually a special tour that occurs every single year with a different line-up. This is the ‘CMT on Tour’ trek across the United States, and CMT selects a few acts that are fresh and upcoming for the year.
The tour includes two friends: Charlie Worsham and Sam Hunt. Worsham released his debut album Rubberband in 2013 on Warner Bros. Nashville. The album was quite a success, and the artist is already prepping its follow up. There is no release date for the follow up record, and the artist sticks mostly to familiar tunes on the tour.
Sam Hunt is an extremely fresh face in the country rock scene. His sound is more reminiscent of traditional rock and roll. He only has a digital EP out for release known as X2C. He is signed to the same label and imprint as Kip Moore.
Both of the opening acts perform for about 30-40 minutes. A few dates may include a local opening act. Please confirm with the venue to see when the first act appears on stage for it is different at every show.
How do I get access to presale tickets for Kip Moore’s tour?
There are a number of ways to get presale tickets for this Kip Moore headlining CMT tour. Firstly, you can join Moore’s official fan club. It is absolutely free, and it gives you special access to various areas of the website as well as other handy content, including presale access. Moore and his affiliates will infrequently offer meet and greets through the fan club.
Fortunately, LiveNation is jumping on board with greater prevalence in the presale market, and are covering the entire CMT tour. You do NOT need a CitiNational card to obtain a presale offer, but it is required for special package deals and VIP’s. Citi is the collaborative resource LiveNation works with to provide presale access.
If you happen to be an American Express cardholder you can access the American Express Entertainment platform. The resource is covering the majority of shows on this tour.
Who is Kip Moore’s publicist and press contact?

Concert Reviews
“[Kip Moore] treated a few lucky fans to an acoustic preview of a few of his songs off of his upcoming album as well as songs from his first release, Up All Night. Kip was extremely funny as he interacted and joked with the crowd while giving background to each of the songs he played.” – Ryan Kent of Miller Time Music Spot
“A kind of magical cross between the songwriting talents of a Jackson Browne, the grit of a Bruce Springsteen and the twang of a Willie Nelson or Merle Haggard, Moore has taken the top spot when it comes to the title of one of country music’s most promising new stars. The unassuming songwriter honed his music and songwriting craft while playing countless backyard bonfires in his hometown of Tifton, Ga.” – Tricia Despres of the Sun Times
“His raspy sound provides a layered uniqueness to his up-tempo party songs “Beer Money” and “Somethin’ Bout A Truck.” With his guitarists flanking him on both sides, Kip strutted to the solitary mic at the front of stage and looked as if he was ready to charge towards the audience. No complaints were heard from the front row.” – Preetha Aloor of CBS Local
