Yo Gabba Gabba Gets the Sillies Out on 2013 Tour

The stars of the Nick Jr. show “Yo Gabba Gabba” will remain on the road well into next year as part of their third live tour.

“Yo Gabba Gabba Live!: Get the Sillies Out” got things started in Los Angeles last weekend, and will undertake a three-night residency in New York on November 30-December 2 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. The extensive tour is then scheduled to run through a stand in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 23-24. Other cities the tour will visit include Pittsburgh, Detroit, St. Louis, Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta, Memphis, San Diego, Houston and Dallas.

“Winner of Billboard’s Creative Content Award, Yo Gabba Gabba Live! has performed in front of countless fans across the U.S. And Canada over the past three years, and the new show “Get the Sillies Out! Is sure to be one you won’t want to miss,” reads a statement on the official website of the live tour. “We’ve taken the fan favorites from the past two tours and combined them with some all-new music and other surprises that we can’t tell you about… yet!”

The site also notes that the show will feature “the one and only DJ Lance Rock, plus Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee, and Plex, and of course, hip hop legend Biz Markie.”

The Nick Jr. series is currently in its fourth season and has spawned four CDs so far. In addition to Biz Markie, the show regularly features popular bands. Notable acts that have appeared on the show include the Killers, Weezer, The Faint, Jack Black, the Roots, Of Montreal, Devo, My Chemical Romance and MGMT.

Many episodes also feature guests spots from actors. Guests in the past have included Jason Bateman, Sarah Silverman, Amy Sedaris, Tori Spelling and Bill Hader. The show won Daytime Emmy Awards in 2008 and 2009.
