Yanni Sets US Tour Dates for Fall Behind ‘Inpirato’

Greek god Yanni has revealed that he’s set to embark on a worldwide tour in support of his newly-announced album, Inspirato.

The North American leg of the trek is set to kick off on August 7th in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, and will see the New Age musician make stops in Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego before wrapping up in Costa Mesa, California on September 21st.

Before heading stateside, however, Yanni will be tickling the ivories across the globe, with stops in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, London, Berlin, Prague and Tel Aviv, among others.

The tour announcement comes off the back of Yanni recently revealing that he plans on releasing a new album this spring.

According to a press release courtesy of Sony Masterworks, Inspirato “took 4 years to complete and over 30 years to compose the music that inspired it”, which is mad when you think about, and features Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, Rolando Villazon, Katherine Jenkins, Vittorio Grigolo, Russell Watson, Micaela Oeste, Nathan Pacheco, Chloe Lowery, Lauren Jelencovich, Placido Domingo Jr., and Pretty Yende. You can get your greasy mitts on it from April 29th.
