Toby Keith, Luke Bryan Featured at ‘Thunder On the Mountain’
The new festival will take place in Ozark, Arkansas on June 6-8, 2013, and other artists scheduled to perform at the festival include Big and Rich, Thompson Square, Gretchen Wilson, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin, Colt Ford, the Randy Rogers Band, Jana Kramer, Pat Green and Bucky Covington.
In addition to all the music at the event, festivalgoers also will be able to enjoy fishing, camping, hiking and floats down the Mulberry River. Tickets come as three-day packages, but camping passes will come with an additional charge. Single day tickets will be made available for sale early next year. Finally, a limited number of VIP tickets will be on sale, and these include front-row seating for concerts as well as beverage service.
The festival is held in the same location as the annual Wakarusa Festival, which typically features a lineup made up of jam bands and rock acts. In the past, that festival has featured acts including STS9, Wilco, Flaming Lips, the Black Keys, Primus, Widespread Panic and O.A.R.
In other Luke Bryan news, he appeared last night at Nashville’s 2012 Grammy Nominations Concert at the city’s Bridgestone Arena. He took the stage to perform his hit single, “I Don’t Want This Night to End.” The nominations concert was hosted by Taylor Swift and LL Cool J. The two opened the nights performances, and additional performers included Maroon 5, Ne-Yo, and a group performance by Dierks Bentley and the Band Perry that served as a tribute to Johnny Cash.
Bryan also was recently the first artist announced that will perform at the 2013 Delaware State Fair. His set will be July 18, 2013, and the show will be opened by Florida Georgia State Line.
