Taylor Swift Preps 2011 World Tour to Support Speak Now
Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” 2011 tour will consist of 87 shows across 19 countries on four different continents. The trek will kick off in Singapore on February 9 and include two shows in Los Angeles on August 23 and 24. On September 1 and 2 Swift will be in San Jose, CA and on September 3 in Sacramento.
During the early months in the year the tour will stop in Europe and Asia, then start a string of appearances in North America with a show in Omaha on May 27. The tour is currently set to wrap up in Dallas on October 8. On-sale information for Swift’s tour leg in North America will be announced shortly.
Swift’s “Fearless” 2010 tour consisted of 107 shows in 88 cities over 15 months in five countries. “Speak Now,” the latest album from Swift, sold 1,047,00 copies during its first week out to become the fastest selling set in over five years.
