Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber Headline Two Night KIIS Jingle Balls

Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber will headline this year’s annual Jingle Ball, presented by Los Angeles radio station KIIS.

This year, the festivities will be spread over two nights for the first time in the history of the event. The first will take place on December 1 and feature a headlining set by Swift, while the second will be headlined by Bieber and take place on December 3. Both will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The first night will also feature appearances by Ne-Yo, Ellie Goulding, OneRepublic, Wonder Girls featuring Akon and a “surprise superstar band.” Along with Bieber, the second night will feature Flo Rida, The Wanted, Ke$ha, fun., Afrojack, Owl City, Zedd and Psy, known for the worldwide sensation “Gangham Style.”

Ryan Seacrest announced this year’s event on his morning show on KIIS FM, and promised that the shows will be hosted by “some of the hottest Hollywood celebs.” He did not, however, elaborate on who those celebrities will be.

Both Swift and Bieber will have new albums to support at the Jingle Ball, and Swift’s fourth album, Red, is due out next week on October 22. The first single from the album, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was released on August 13 and became Swift’s first single to hit the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The album also features two duets, one with Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and another with English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

Bieber’s most recent album, Believe, was released in June of this year. It is his third studio album. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart and at the time had the biggest debut sales week of any album released in 2012. However, Mumford and Sons later had a higher first week sales total with their sophomore album, Babel.
