Taking Back Sunday Wraps Warped Tour, Schedules Fall Run
Taking Back Sunday just wrapped up their appearance on the Warped Tour over the weekend, but they’ve already announced their own headlining tour this fall.
The upcoming trek will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of the band’s debut album, Tell All Your Friends, that was released, as you may have guessed, in 2002. At each stop on the two-month tour, the band will play that album in its entirety, as well as other favorites from their catalog.
The group will kick things off with a show at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio on October 4 and the tour is scheduled to run through November 23, when the band will play Terminal 5 in New York City. In between those dates, the band will visit Chicago, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Boston, among others.
Bayside will provide support for most shows, and the two bands also will be joined by a variety of different openers throughout the tour. The band said in a statement that they are excited to perform Tell All Your Friends in its entirety.
“This record propelled our career to heights we never could have imagined,” read the release. “This fall we will tour the United States and play the album in its entirety to celebrate not only that record, but also how that record changed our lives and provided us a career that has spanned over a decade. We could not be more excited.”
The group formed in 1999, and have released four more albums since their debut. The most recent, which is self-titled, was released in June of last year on Warner Bros. Records.
Taking Back Sunday appeared on the Warped Tour with a variety of well-known bands, including Rise Against, the Used, New Found Glory and Yellowcard.
