Sugarland Charts a 55-City Concert Tour

The Atlanta-based country duo Sugarland is heading out on the open road with an ambitious 55-city trek planned that will stretch from the spring through the summer of 2010. The tour has been labeled the “Incredible Machine Tour” and is set to launch in Prim, Nevada on April 23 and sail through late-September. Only an inkling of dates has been announced at this point which are listed below. Check Sugarland Tour for an up-to-the-minute concert calendar.

Sugarland has said that the release date for their forthcoming album is slated for summer though no firm date has yet been provided. Evidently, the duo has been hard at work writing the songs and could be laying down tracks in the studio as we speak. Sugarland released a holiday album in October featuring standards like “Winter Wonderland” and “Holly Jolly Christmas” as well as five original pieces from the band. The album climbed up to number 3 on the Billboard Country charts. Their last full length album of original songs “Love on the Inside” was released in 2008 and peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Album charts.
