The Stone Temple Pilots, a week following the release of their sixth studio album on May 21, have announced summer tour plans. The band’s road trip will last just over a month.

The Stone Temple Pilots will kick off their North American outing in Winnipeg, MB at Rock on the Range on August 7. The band is primarily booked for amphitheaters ass well as other summertime venues. The outing will wrap up in Tempe, AZ at the Arizona Fall Frenzy on September 19.

The trek will feature nearly 20 concert dates and includes an August 10 date in Denver, CO at the Red Rocks Amphitheater; an August 20 date in Chicago, IL at the Charter One Pavilion; and a September 1 date in Boston, MA at the Bank of America Pavilion.

Summer tour pricing details and ticket on sales have not been announced yet on Stone Temple Pilot’s official website. However Ticketmaster.com does have an event listing for the concert on August 25 in Cincinnati, OH at the PNC Pavilion, with a June 12 on sale public date, with ticket prices at $41.50-$56.

For the reunited Stone Temple Pilots, the 2010 summer trek is their latest tour. The band originally split up in 2003. However the band, front by Scott Weiland, reunited with a long reunion tour spanning most of 2008. In 2009, they were back out on the road again for summer as well as fall shows.
