Stagecoach 2014 Headlined by Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan
Stagecoach, Coachella’s country sibling, is set to be headlined by Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Eric Church next year. Stagecoach 2014 runs from Friday, April 25th, through Sunday, April 27th, and will once again take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Event promoters Goldenvoice announced the line-up on Thursday, and confirmed that Ashley Monroe, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Jennifer Nettles, Tyler Farr, Lee Brice, Thomas Rhett, Brantley Gilbert and many more modern country stars would also be making appearances at the event.
The festival line-up looks set to include the cream of new-country’s musical crop, as well as a nod to some of the genre’s seasoned veterans, including Loretta Lynn, John Prine, Brenda Lee, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Conlee, Crystal Gayle, Don McLean, Susanna Hoffs, Asleep at the Wheel and Michael Nesmith.
All three headliners are no stranger to one another having sung together on Aldean’s hit single “The Only Way I Know”, which won the 2013 CMT award for Collaborative Video of the Year.
It seems reasonable to assume that the three headliners will primarily play in support of their respective latest albums. Luke Bryan’s most recent, Crash My Party, was released on August 13th of this year, and has already spawned two mega-hits, “Crash My Party” and “That’s My Kind Of Night”. Aldean’s latest, Night Train, was released last October which, in cyber-time, is about 20 years, so fingers crossed he’ll surprise the Stagecoach crowd with some new material. Eric Church released a live album earlier this year, but his last studio effort came back in 2011 with Chief.
