With the kick off on New Year’s Eve fast approaching, the upcoming tour by Sarah McLachlan called “Sarah and Friends” is continuing to grow.

An additional 17 dates were recently added and confirmed by McLachlan’s camp to the itinerary of the tour, including second nights for Montreal, Toronto and New York City, as well as a show at L.A. Live’s Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

McLachlan, after many years of maintaining a low profile, in June released “Laws of Illusion,” her new album.  She resurrected Lilith Fair as well, the long dormant summer tour.

McLachlan, according to a recent press release, is planning to play material from her new album as well as classic hits on her upcoming tour.  Her new set is her first new studio album in seven years.  Throughout the night she will also take time to answer audience member questions.

Melissa McClelland and Butterfly Boucher, two band mates and friends of McLachlan’s, will will each be performing a short set of their own.
