Sarah McLachlan Tacks Chicago, Minneapolis onto Current Tour Schedule
Sarah McLachlan has added on a couple new dates to “Sarah and Friends.” Earlier this month the run was kicked off and will stretch through March.
The Canadian songwriter/singer since last check has confirmed an additional five Midwest stops, including concerts in Minneapolis on March 9, in Chicago on March 12, and in East Lansing MI on March 14. The recently launched tour, which will play its second of two New York City shows on January 13, currently is scheduled to wrap up in Oshawa, Ontario on March 26.
For many years McLachlan kept a low profile before releasing a new set last summer called “Laws of Illusion.” All of the tour stops will include material from her new album. It is the first album from the singer in seven years. Classic McLachlan hits will also be part of the set list. According to a recent press release, a Q&A session with the audience will be part of the shows as well.
Melissa McClelland and Butterfly Boucher, friends and band mates of McLachlan’s, will also be performing short sets.
