Roger Daltrey Brings The Who’s ‘Tommy’ to the US and Canada in September
Roger Daltrey, the rock icon, has announced he is planning a six-week tour where he will resurrect the classic Who album “Tommy” in its entirety. The singer will also be performing several other classic Who songs. The six week outing will launch in Hollywood FL on September 13 and wrap up in Winnipeg at the MTS Centre on November 2.
On March 25, the “Tommy” show was premiered by Daltrey at The Royal Albert Hall, with proceeds going to help the Teenage Cancer Trust. The shows uses a variety of striking visuals that accompany the music. Each show is characterized as a concert experience that is unforgettable for both newcomers and lifelong fans.
Tickets for Canadian performances for the tour, produced by AEG Live, will be going on sale on May 19 and for U.S. dates on May 20. A pre-sale for American Express card holders will start on May 16 via aeglive.com at 10 am and end in Canada on May 18 and in the U.S. on May 19.
