Paul Simon Unravels 2011 Tour Dates
Paul Simon is set to be the headliner at the Hangout Festival this year; however he will also be touring to promote his album, So Beautiful or So What, which is produced by Phil Ramone and will drop in April.
Based on an official statement, Simon will be singing his recent releases as well as his past hits. He may also sing “several songs that haven’t been performed in many years.” A performance that includes songs from different times of his career is certainly worth seeing and hearing live.
The first concert will be in Seattle, WA on April 15 and will then go to Los Angeles for two dates, Toronto, New York for two dates, Chicago, and Mashantucket, CT in a casino. His last date will be in Boston. The majority of venues will start selling tickets on March 11 via Ticketmaster. The rest of the dates will go on sale on March 12 or 13. For more details, go to Simon’s website.
In addition to the tour, Simon will be on Jimmy Fallon’s show Late Night on April 6 and April 7. He could even perform alongside The Roots. Fallon has the knack for making the inconceivable come true. You never know.
Simon’s album So Beautiful or So What will be released by Hear Music/Concord Music Group on April 12.
