Lady Antebellum to Finally Headline Summer Tour

After playing second bill for a handful of other artists, award winning country trio Lady Antebellum will finally get to play as main act in their upcoming “Need You Now” tour to further promote their sophomore release of the same title. The album tour will be launched on September 27 in Bloomsburg, PA. They will be crossing 35 US cities, and will be tagging artist David Neil to perform as opening act. KISS heat up summer with "Hottest Show on Earth"

Rock legends Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer which compose the four-man rock group KISS will be embarking on a 30-city US tour dubbed as the “Hottest Show on Earth”. The group will be kicking off the tour on July 23 with a show in Cheyenne, WY and will cap off on September 24 in Phoenix. On May 23, “ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn- The Last Rodeo” aired. I hate thinking of it as the “Last Rodeo.” I hate thinking of a world in which Brooks & Dunn are no longer making music. However it was great watching 15 favorite country singers performing some of the best songs from Brooks & Dunn. From the top all the way to the bottom it was all good. There were, however, a few moments that stood out.

Yo Gabba Gabba Heads Out to 60 Cities on Upcoming Tour

After selling out their debut tour and making a special guest appearance at the 2010 Coachella festival, the cast of “Yo Gabba Gabba!”, the highly acclaimed kids’ program, will be hitting the road with their show. For almost four months on the road, DJ Lance Rock and the life-sized characters from “Yo Gabba Gabba!” will perform live shows called “There’s A Party In My City!” along with special celebrity guests.

La Roux Looks Beyond Lilith Fair Dates

La Roux, the French/British pop-synth duo, has extended their headlining North American trek. It includes some additional July Lilith Fair appearances. Ben Langmaid and Elly Jackson will be kicking their late spring leg off in Houston, TX on May 30. After a couple additional June shows, the duo will be returning in July for a San Diego, CA appearance on July 14, and then head out in the middle of the month to do six Lilith shows, starting at Tinley Park, IL on July 17. Their trek will wrap up with a string of headlining shows on the East Coast in late July as well as early August.

Jay-Z Teams Up with Eminem for Stadium Shows

Late this summer, Jay-Z and Eminem will be teaming up for two co-headlining concerts in major league baseball parks: Comerica Park in Detroit and Yankee Stadium in New York City. The first show will be in Detroit, Eminem’s hometown, on September 2. On September 13 the pair will be in Jay-Z’s New York City. In the past, the two have performed together frequently. However it hasn’t been on the same scale. The shows were announced live from Fox Sports Detroit at a doubleheader at Comerica Park in the second game between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers.

Paul McCartney Adds San Francisco, Utah to Tour Schedule

Paul McCartney launched his “Up and Coming Tour” early this spring with a string of concerts in the US. He now plans on returning to the US this summer for two additional dates on the West Coast at least. The former Wings frontman and Beatles bassist is scheduled to perform in San Francisco, CA at AT&T Park on July 10 and in Sandy, UT at Rio Tinto Stadium on July 13.

Austin City Limits Unwraps Lineup for 2010

The Austin City Limits Music Festival, over the last eight years, has evolved into one of the biggest and best music festivals in the US. Its all-star lineup rivals other well known festivals such as Lollapallooza, Bonnaroo and Coachella. From October 8-10 Austin City Limits Music Festival will be held in Austin at Zilker Park for its ninth annual festival.

The band is well known for having long summer treks, and for many of their diehard fans it has become a yearly tradition. The Dave Matthews Band has announced they will not be touring in 2011.
