OneRepublic, Sara Bareilles Launch Co-Headlining Tour with Mayer Hawthorne

OneRepublic and Sara Bareilles have revealed a new summer tour that will run from late August through most of September.

The tour will kick off August 29 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver, Colo., and will continue through a September 20 show at the Bayou Concert Hall in Houston. Other cities the two artists will visit include Park City, Utah; Spokane, Wash.; Troutdale, Ore.; Santa Barbara, Calif.; Phoenix and Austin, Texas.

OneRepublic will be on the road in North America most of the time between now and the beginning of the newly announced dates with Mayer Hawthorne and Churchill. OneRepublic is supporting its third studio album, Native, which was released in March of this year. The album is the first from the group since 2009’s Waking Up, and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

The band currently is promoting its new single, “Counting Stars,” which it performed on “Ellen” yesterday, June 3. Singer Ryan Tedder also performed the song with Blake Shelton’s backing band at the recent “Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert” for the victims of the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma.

Bareilles also will have new music for fans on the tour, as she will release her third studio album, The Blessed Unrest, on July 16. “Brave,” the first single from the album, was released at the end of April and debuted at number five on the iTunes pop charts.

The album will be the first for the pianist since 2010’s Kaleidoscope Heart. That album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and has since sold over 300,000 copies in the U.S. The artist did, however, release an EP last year titled Once Upon Another Time. The set featured five songs and cracked the top 10 of the albums charts.
