New Tour Dates for Keith's Biggest Tour
Toby Keith, who started out on his extensive outing “Biggest & Baddest Tour” just a few weeks ago, has added some additional shows as well as released another single.
Keith will continue on his trek in Ridgefield, WA on July 18. Through mid-September he has over 30 dates booked in the US. Shows have been added for West Valley City, UT; Englewood, CO; Clarkston, MI; Hartford, CT; Spokane, WA; Las Vegas, NV; and Selma, Woodlands and Dallas in Texas.
Montgomery Gentry, the country duo, is also supporting the tour as well as the newcomers Trailer Choir, Mica Roberts and Carter’s Chord.
Currently Keith is backing his two latest albums, “Toby Keith’s 35 Biggest Hits” and “Big Dog Daddy,” released last summer. CMT News reports that he will have a new album out this fall. “She Never Cried in Front of Me,” Keith’s new single, this week hit the country charts. It is available currently for digital download.
The country star is also still on the music charts with “She’s a Hottie,” his latest single. It’s the only new song from Keith’s best-of album. For 18 weeks the song has been on the Hot Country Songs chart of Billboard and is continuing to to hold a Top 40 spot.
Additional tunes from Keith are on the soundtrack for “Beer For My Horses,” his upcoming film scheduled to come out in theaters on August 8. The screenplay was co-written by Keith and Rodney Carrington, country comedian. The two are starring in the movie along with Willie Nelson and Ted Nugent.
Keith has sold almost 35 million albums during his career. Recently Forbes ranked him as the No. 1 earner in country music. Last year he raked in approximately $48 million.
Between all of his touring, recording, making movies, running a chain of restaurants and record label, and performing for US troops, the country superstar has also found time for giving. Last month the fifth annual Keith celebrity golf tournament raised over $700,00 to support Ally’s House. It’s a non-profit organization in Oklahoma that assists children with cancer along with their families.
