New Look Paramore Takes to the Road with Kitten

Paramore will head out on the road this spring to support their upcoming album, and the Tennessee group will be taking Kitten on the trip with them.

As of now, there are only 12 North American dates listed on the band’s itinerary, but more dates will be announced soon. The first concert we know of at this point will be held at the Bayou Music Center in Houston on April 25, and the tour will continue at least through May 16 when the band plays the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. In between those dates, the group will visit Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and Boston.

Kitten is a pop rock group from Los Angeles currently working on its first full-length album, which will likely be out later this year on Elektra Records.

Paramore just released the new single “Now” last week, and the song will be included on the group’s self-titled fourth album that is scheduled for release just before the tour starts on April 9. The album will be the first for the group since 2009’s Brand New Eyes, and also will be the first since original members and brothers Josh and Zac Farro left the band. The group will continue as a trio, but typically brings along additional touring members.

Brand New Eyes debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart when it was released, and hit number one on the albums charts in a number of countries, including the U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

The band’s new album is available for pre-order now, and a deluxe box set available on the group’s website includes a 12-inch vinyl, a 7-inch vinyl with exclusive b-sides, a hoodie and a photo book that details the making of the new record.
