Motorhead Introduce ‘The World is Yours’ on Tour

Motorhead, led by vocalist Lemmy Kilmister, will go on a tour of the North and South Americas early next year in support of their upcoming release, the Cameron Webb-produced “The World is Yours”. Music and lyrical credits go to Kilmister and other Motorhead members Mikkey Dee and Philip Campbell who recorded the album in spring this year.

The group will fuel the hype for the new record which is set to hit shelves on February 8, with a new list of tour dates. The tour will begin on January 25 with a show in Anaheim, CA, followed by a slew of dates in the west coast and west Canada through early February, shows in the Midwest by mid-February and a dash of stops in the east by March, including a stop at the House of Blues in Boston and Atlantic City on March 1 and 4, respectively. The band will conclude the two-month trek on March 11 with a show at the Nokia Live Theatre in Los Angeles.

By April, the band will embark on a short South American jaunt with stops in Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, plus a three-city stop in Brazil to cap things off.

In other news, band vocalist Kilmister has had his hands full this year with the release of his documentary “Lemmy: 49% Motherf**ker, 51% Son Of A Bitch”, which hit the festival circuit this year and is set for public release via several formats: Blu-Ray, two-disc DVD and digital. Cinema screenings are said to be set for next month with details to be announced later.
