Metallica Announces 4 Shows at San Francisco Fillmore
To celebrate their 30th anniversary Metallica, the Bay Area’s all-time biggest metal act, will perform four intimate shows in their hometown.
The four member band, which was established in 1981 and has sold over 50 million U.S. records, will be performing at the 1,200 capacity Fillmore in San Francisco on December 5, 7, 9, 10.
However, not everyone is receiving an invitation. Only Metallica Club members, the official fan club for the band, are being offered tickets.
The band is sure making their shows are very affordable for their members. Packs of four tickets, which is comprised of one ticket per show, only cost $19.81. The price point is in honor of the year Metallica was formed. Tickets for single shows are only $6.
Reservations for tickets can be made through August 8. For more details, fan club members can visit metallica.com. At the site, individuals can also join Metallica’s fan club. The cost to join is $45 to $55.
According to Metallica’s website, the 30th anniversary shows of the band will be featuring varied set lists (including some rare songs), special guest stars and some other surprises.
