Anyway, the announcement came the same day the band released their live DVD/CD of a show in celebration of a classic album, “Countdown to Extinction: Live”.
The DVD/CD combo hit stores of both the physical and digital variety yesterday and was filmed at the Fox Theatre in Los Angeles last year during the ‘Countdown to Extinction’ tour; it features Megadeth playing their classic 1992 album in its entirety.
Support is set to come from special guests Fear Factory and Nonpoint, and in true Spinal Tap fashion, speakers/amplifiers are expected to be turned all the way up to 11.
