Linkin Park Tour Resumes after Bennington Bout of Illness

Linkin Park is scheduled to resume touring. They had to postpone or cancel several shows after frontman Chester Bennington became ill. Last week, Bennington was hospitalized. He had a viral infection as well as complications stemming from the treatment. However physicians have cleared him to return to the stage.

Linkin Park’s “A Thousand Suns World Tour” will resume in Las Vegas at MGM Grand on February 19. A meet and greet pre-show is scheduled to start at Club Tattoo in Las Vegas at 6 pm.

In a statement, Bennington wrote, I want to thank all our fans for their kind wishes. I look forward to returning to the stage. It will be much more fun than staying in a hospital was. Also I want to offer an apology to our fans from the cities that were affected by the postponements and cancellations. We will return as soon as possible.
