Korn Added to Metal ShipRocked Cruise

Organizers of this year’s ShipRocked 2012 rock-themed cruise have just announced that Korn has joined the lineup, and will co-headline the four day cruise along with Godsmack.

This year’s cruise will take place November 27 – December 1 on the MSC Poesia. The ship will head out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and continue on to Key West, Fla. before making its way to Nassau, Bahamas. Along with the headliners, the extensive lineup for the festivities also includes P.O.D., Fuel, Filter, Sevendust, Five Finger Death Punch, Black Stone Cherry, Lit, Pop Evil, In This Moment and the Halo Method, among many others.

Jonathan Davis, lead singer of Korn, said he was on a cruise last year and expects a great time on this year’s event, as well.

“I did a cruise a cruise last year DJing as J Devil, and it was a f**king blast – such a great time,” he said in a statement. We’re really looking forward to doing it this year as Korn with Monster Energy and all these great musicians. This is going to be an unbelievable event.”

The official website of ShipRocked has more information about the tour.

“Throughout your musical adventure at sea, you’ll also be treated to a boat load of additional unique activities, such as artist meet and greets, Q&A sessions, contests, game shows, insane parties, theme nights, and so much more!” reads the website.

“Between the concerts and other events, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to rest and recharge onboard your floating resort, the MSC Poesia. Whether enjoying the serenity of the 12,000 square foot Balinese spa, feasting on all-you-can-eat cuisine, trying your luck in the Vegas-style casino, working out in the full-service fitness center, relaxing under the sun by the pool or just kicking back on your own private balcony overlooking the ocean and a star-filled sky, you will discover luxury cruising at its finest.”

Prices for the cruise start at $799.
