Killers, Kid Rock, Pixies Headline Orlando Calling
The mystery has been cleared up. The lineup has been announced for Orlando Calling. The music festival will take place at Citrus Bowl Park in Orlando on November 12 and 13. According to Billboard.com, the festival will be featuring an eclectic mixture of classic and modern rock, country and R&B, with acts such as Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band, Kid Rock, The Roots, Pixies, the Raconteurs and The Killers leading the bill.
The first day of festival will be leaning towards a sound that is more modern. The Roots, Pixies, The Raconteurs and The Killers will be joined by The Felice Brothers, Justin Townes Earle, Jenny & Jonny, Dr. Dog, Local Natives, Pete Yorn, Iron & Wine and The Avett Brothers.
The slant will be more old school on day two. Bob Seeger and Kid Rock will performing along with Brandi Carlile, Chris Isaak, Michelle Branch, Blues Traveler, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Warren Haynes, Buddy Guy and The Doobie Brothers.
Around 100 acts in all will be performing across four stages. The official announcement will be made during a press conference at 11 a.m. on July 21.
On July 23 reserved ticket and general admission field tickets will be going on sale on the festival’s website. Single day tickets will cost $85 and for both days $150. For VIP seats with amenities, the cost is $165 and $265.
