Joe Bonamassa, the American blues rock singer and guitarist, was born in New Hartford, NY on May 8, 1977. Bonamassa got his first guitar when he was 4 years old and when he was 12 years old opened for the legendary blues singer and guitarist B.B. King. When he was 14 years old he, Berry Oakley, Jr., Erin Davis (son of Miles Davis) and Waylon Krieger (son of Robby Krieger), formed the band Bloodline. The group released one album, spawning two chart singles: “Dixie Peach” and “Stone Cold Hearted.” Since then Bonamassa has played with other great musicians, including Jack Bruce, Derek Trucks, Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Ted Nugent, Paul Jones, Steve Winwood, Gregg Allman, Joe Cocker, Stephen Stills, Robert Cray, Foreigner and Buddy Guy.

In 2000, Bonamassa released his debut album, “A New Day Yesterday” and in 2002 followed up with the set “So It's Like That” which made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Blues chart. In 2003, “Blues Deluxe” was released, which included three original and nine classic songs. In 2004 he released “Had To Cry Today” and in 2006 “You & Me,” his fifth studio album, which also made it to No. 1 on Billboard's Blues Album chart. Bonamassa released “Sloe Gin” in 2007 and it spent over 10 weeks in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Blues chart. “Black Rock,” Bonamassa's tenth solo album, was released in 2010 and “Dust Bowl,” his eleventh album in 2011.
