Jimmy Eat World Prepared for Fall Concert Tour
One of the renowned alternative acts of the ‘90s, Jimmy Eat World, is about to come out with their newest record entitled “Invented” and will be going on tour this fall to pave the way for its release.
Joining the band for the road trip is backup vocalist Courtney Marie Andrews. The album tour will kick off with a show in Atlanta’s Center Stage on September 21 and will entail 15 more stops, including three stops n California after which they will be swinging by the Midwest to the east coast till they hit Boston’s House of Blues on October 15, on their way to their final and only Canadian stop in Toronto’s Kool Haus on October 17.
Also accompanying the band during the tour are fellow alt-acts Civil Twilight who will be the opening act for the band’s first two stops (they will be in Asheville, NC on September 22), while We Were Promised Jetpacks will be the front acts for all the band’s shows from September 29 (Los Angeles) till the tour’s end.
Tickets for all shows will be available starting on July 31, Saturday, through the band’s website and at all venues included in the tour, while advanced tickets will go on sale on July 29, Thursday, only through the band’s official website.
“Invented” will hit the shelves on September 28. The album marks the band’s seventh studio effort and their follow-up to “”Chase this Light” which went on to no.5 at the Billboard 200 upon its release in 2007.
