Jimmy Buffett Readies the Parrotheads for Tour Season

Additional Jimmy Buffett shows have been announced, with more forthcoming for his “The Year of Still Here Tour.”

Buffett’s latest itinerary shows his trek kicking off in Woodlands, TX on April 21 and then stopping in over a dozen cities over the eastern US through September. Stands of two nights have been booked for Mansfield, MA and Bridgeview, IL, with an appearance on May 3 at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Most of the dates are on sale currently. Tickets for Bristow, VA; Burgettstown, PA; Cincinnati, OH; and Woodlands, TX will go be going on sale to the general public from March 14 to March 17.

Buffett is continuing to support “Take the Weather With You,” his latest studio album released in 2006 The country leaning record became Buffett’s second consecutive set to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Last year Buffett also released two live recordings. “Live in Anguilla,” released in November, documents two shows Buffett did recently from the Caribbean island. “Live at Texas Stadium,” released in April, revisits a Dallas concert from 2004 that Buffett did with George Strait and Alan Jackson.

The Parrotheads leader also has several other endeavors keeping busy. He has a new restaurant that is being constructed in Waikiki, HI, a casino business venture in Biloxi, MS; as well as a new book due out in May called “Swine Not?”
