Jeff Dunham’s Disorderly Conduct Tour Revs Up in October
Jeff Dunham’s seemingly-never-ending Disorderly Conduct tour looks primed for another North American trek, with the comedian/puppeteer (what a brilliant word)/ventriloquist scheduling another 56 dates across the continent to see out 2013 and see in 2014, respectively.
The whole thing is scheduled to kick off on October 23rd in Windsor, Ontario and sees Dunham perform five more Canadian dates, as well as shows in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Baltimore, Atlanta, New Orleans, Minneapolis, Dallas, Phoenix, among others, before finishing up in Sacramento, California, on March 30th of next year.
The Disorderly Conduct Tour has been rolling out in some form or fashion since last November. New tour legs have been announced sporadically as the work horse comedians brought his funny across the nation.
Since the beginning of his career, Dunham has drawn praise and accolades from a wide variety of publications, as well as being credited with reinvigorating ventriloquism which, let’s be honest, is a pretty tall order.
He’s been voted the “Top Comic” in Comedy Central’s “Stand-up Showdown”, has won “Ventriloquist of the Year” twice, and has been nominated for “Comedian of the Year” by the TNN Music City News Country Awards, so his trophy cabinet is a little low on space.
A press release promises attendees a “new jam packed show with more laughs than ever before. Dunham’s famed troupe of sidekicks are back: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño, and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself”, which honestly sounds like more of the same, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
