Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a Jason Aldean concert?
Jason Aldean keeps things to the point in his set. He will be found onstage with his hat tipped down and his guitar in place. Over 90 or so minutes, he allows the songs to speak for themselves. The band whips through tracks with staggering speed, and Aldean’s narrative between songs is kept to the barest of minimums. You feel as if the artist is beating a clock, but the shows never overstay their welcome and remain a riveting adventure for country fans throughout. On the Burn It Down Tour, Florida Georgia Line are being afforded 45 minutes and Tyler Farr a brief 20 minutes.

What songs will Jason Aldean play in concert?
Jason Aldean tends to play the same 15-20 songs per show, but he has a tendency to throw them all in a grab bag to see what comes up. This gives the show a feeling of spontaneity that many artists forgo in favor of convenience. Aldean will be seen looking his artists in the eyes between songs and mouthing comments, as if cuing them in on certain tracks.

So where “Hicktown” is a staple towards the end of the set, it does not always defiantly close out the evening. Country crooning rock standard “She’s Country” will close it or be found towards the middle of the set.

It is not uncommon for a country artist to tease us with a classic cover, and Hank Williams Jr.’s notoriously witty tune, “A Country Boy Can Survive,” effortlessly embodies nearly everything about the image and appeal of Aldean. It is a perfect choice. Though fans often do not recognize it or show equal enthusiasm on par with his hits, it is a great pace changer and shines a spotlight on the greats that came before.

Aldean safely positions his crowd roaring favorite “Night Train” in the middle of the set, off his album of the same title. This latest record, Night Train, released in 2012. This may be reason enough to introduce a few new songs onto the set in 2014, but Aldean has left things rather confined to what the fans are already familiar with. Some may argue its a lost opportunity, but Aldean is riding off the strength off his chart-peaking commercial and subsequent critical success of the record. Below is a typical song list Aldean plays nightly though the order is anyone’s guess.

Crazy Town
Big Green Tractor
The Truth
Fly Over States
Amarillo Sky
Night Train
Wheels Rollin’
That’s The Only Way I Know
Johnny Cash
When She Says Baby
She’s Country
Tattoos On This Town
Don’t You Wanna Stay
Dirt Road Anthem
My Kinda Party
Hicktown

How can I get access to Jason Aldean presale tickets?
Jason Aldean’s fan club, Aldean Army, gets the first stab at presale tickets. Annual membership costs run from $19.99 to $54.99. The lowest price tier gets you into the presale which will provide you with a unique code to enter on Ticketmaster.

There are additional presales for LiveNation, local radio outlets and even a Florida Georgia Line presale. For a few stops the FL/GA Line password was FGLADEAN and the LiveNation was ACCESS or COVERT via the mobile app. Join local radio station mailing lists and social media for information on their presale opportunities.

If Jason Aldean is a solo act, is the show acoustic?
Jason Aldean has an accompanying road band he brings along on tour. The current roster includes Rich Redmond, Tully Kennedy, and Kurt Allison. They help bring the fullness of the record sound to life on stage.

Fans may also be intrigued to know that the current road band is also his production team for recording, mixing, and mastering. They are responsible for the sonic quality of Aldean’s records. The trio (plus close friend David Fanning) are known as New Voice Entertainment

Aldean does have some solo material thrown into his set, but it is rarely bunched together and usually sporadically and strategically placed throughout the set.

Who is Jason Aldean’s publicist and press contact?
Jason Aldean lets The Green Room handle his publicity matters. Mary Hilliard Harrington handles Aldean for The Green Room. She can be reached at maryhilliard@thegreenroompr.com or (615) 242-7444 for Jason Aldean press related matters.

Concert Reviews

“Hits “Big Green Tractor,” “Dirty Road Anthem” and “My Kinda Party” kept fans on their feet throughout the night. Aldean’s modern infusion of rock and rap into a country theme seems to have struck a chord, literally, with his fans.” - Daniel DeSlover of The Examiner

“Jason Aldean roared on stage with “Crazy Town” and left to the final ringing sounds of “Hicktown.” In between, the country star delivered 17 more songs in a 95-minute show that thoroughly entertained and satisfied a sold-out Pinnacle Bank Arena crowd of 12,280.” – Kent Wolgamott of The Journal Star

“Aldean may be eclipsing the competition, and becoming the next major country superstar. It’s easy to see why: his live show is a well-tooled machine, plied with a deep set list of diverse, agreeable hits and solid musicianship. Although visually, the production takes the Buffalo Wild Wings overkill approach and fills your peripheral vision with video screens, Aldean only rarely resorts to gimmickry. He relies on the strength and of his songs to carry the show, and doesn’t need to puff up weak material with acoustic interludes, interactive crowd-cams or other such distractions.” – John Serba at Michigan Live
