Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Demi Lovato Corralled for Houston Rodeo

This year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will feature a slew of big names, including Jason Aldean, Toby Keith and Demi Lovato.

The 2013 rodeo season will be held from Monday, February 25 through Saturday, March 16 at Reliant Stadium. Additionally, a special concert-only performance will take place following the Rodeo events on Sunday, March 17 to close out the festival. This show will feature George Strait, Martina McBride and the Randy Rogers Band.

In all, there will be 20 RodeoHouston performances taking place during this year’s event. Those wanting to attend multiple events can purchase season tickets for all shows, or mini-season tickets that include nine performances. The George Strait concert is an optional purchase for all buyers.

Keith will kick off the 2013 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with his show on February 25. Lovato will co-headline a show on March 3 with Austin Mahone, and Aldean’s performance will be held on March 11. Finally, Luke Bryan will close out the last regular night of the rodeo on March 16.

Aldean has been in the news recently as he prepares to see if he will take home the Entertainer of the Year honors at tonight’s (November 1) CMA Awards that will be held in Nashville. When asked about what he’d do if he wins, Aldean told “Taste of Country Nights” that he will party, though he wants to stay out of the tabloid spotlight – something he’s struggled with in the past.

“I’ve been in the news enough, I’m done,” he told host Jeremy Robinson. “Between (the news of photos of him kissing Brittany Kerr) and my beach thing, my beach rampage that I went off on beach patrol this last summer I think I’m gonna just be quiet from now on.”

Aldean, who is married, was photographed kissing former “American Idol” contestant Brittany Kerr in a bar. The beach comment concerned an incident earlier this year after Aldean was issued a ticket on a beach and took to Twitter to defend himself.
