Janet Jackson, Lady Antebellum Shows Canceled at Indiana State Fair
Lady Antebellum and Janet Jackson have canceled their dates that were scheduled this week for the Indiana State Fair following the tragic stage collapse that occurred on Saturday which injured dozens and killed five at the venue. Jackson had been scheduled to perform on Wednesday night, with Lady Antebellum set to take the stage on Friday.
Train and Maroon 5, scheduled for a Thursday double headlining billing, haven’t canceled. However their show is going to take place at a different location. Sometime later today the site will be announced. James Valentine, the guitarist for Maroon 5, yesterday told Billboard that the band did have reservations about performing at the fair right after the tragedy. However details are still being worked out about a benefit gig be performed in support of the victims and families of this week’s stage collapse.
