Jamie Cullum Opens 2010 on the Road

Jazz crooner Jamie Cullum is set to welcome the spring with a North American Tour that will reach from coast to coast starting in New York, New York (3/4) and stretching to Los Angeles, California (3/25). The 14 city tour will be in support of his forthcoming album entitled “The Pursuit” due out in stores on March 2. A full listing of tour dates are listed below. Fan club presales start on Thursday (12/17) with the public onsale happening on Friday (12/18).

“The Pursuit” will be Cullum’s first album in four years, following 2005′s “Catching Tales.” The album was recorded in London with producer Greg Wells (Colbie Caillat, Katy Perry). Cullum spent two years on the road promoting “Catching Tales” and has sowed his musical wild oats in the time since playing in other people’s bands, DJing and traveling. He did surface to co-write the title track for “Gran Torino” with Clint Eastwood.
