Interpol Sets Out on Theatre Tour in March

Interpol, the indie-rockers from New York, are scheduled to kick off more roadwork in North America later this month in support of the band’s new self-titled set. Also this spring they will return to the U.S. to do additional shows.

Interpol will next take to the stage in Vancouver, British Columbia on January 27 and through most of February will tour North American theaters and clubs. Then the band will head overseas for shows in Europe and the U.K.

A round of dates for this spring in the U.S. have recently been confirmed. The larger markets are mostly avoided on the itinerary. The outing will kick off in Reno, NV on April 13 and wrap up in Raleigh, NC approximately three weeks later.

Pre-order ticket purchases for the spring dates in North America will come with a free download consisting of three Interpol bonus tracks: “Specialist” from their 2002 self-titled EP; a “Slow Hand” remix by Britt Daniniel that was originally a bonus track from the “Anitics” 2004 Japanese edition; and “The Undoing” off the group’s news album. Additional information is available at Interpol‘s website.
