Infographic: Music Listening and Sharing Habits of Social Media Users

Last week, we started our new infographic series where we highlight the most interesting music-related infographics on the web. Our first installment was one of our own where we looked at the curious facts surrounding next week’s Coachella Music Festival. This week we feature an interesting look at the music listening and sharing habits of social media users. There are some interesting conclusions to draw from this regarding how many people are still illegally downloading music, how many people are using social music sites and how much music people are actually listening to. Probably the most interesting tid bit was that 78% of people block what they are listening to so it doesn’t show up on their social media feed. I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t want your friends to know about your unhealthy Britney Spears obsession.
