Idina Menzel Recruits Orchestras Across America to Assist her Tour
Idina Menzel has gathered up the Symphony Orchestras across the nation as she sets out on the road for her upcoming concert tour. The tour starts in Jacksonville, Florida on April 24 and ends 10 cities later in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 19. Full tour dates are listed below.
When asked about the coming tour, Idina Menzel said in a press release, “I’m really looking forward to getting back on stage in this new arena. There’s something so magical about singing in front of an orchestra. I can’t wait to mix up my repertoire and experiment with my album material in this new context.”
Menzel rose to fame with her work on Broadway in musicals like “Wicked” and “Rent.” She released her third album “I Stand” in January 2008 and it marked her first entry into the Billboard Album Charts , jumping up to the 58 spot.
