Hinder Lays Down Concert Tour to Open 2011
The new year will have alt-rock band Hinder bringing their new album from club to club and theatre to theatre all across the country, circuiting the east coast, the south and the Midwest during the crisp months of January and February.
The band’s new release, “All American Nightmare”, which came out early this month is something that the rockers, led by lead vocalist Austin Winkler, is proud of. Describing the new material as “unique” and “definitely different”, “Nightmare” has been received positively by their fans during their previous performances.
The band’s tour will kick off on January 21 in Jackson, MS and will course through the south before hopping over to the east coast by the last week of the month. The tour caps off with a two-city show in Oklahoma, Durant on February 18 and Newkirk on February 19. Saving Abel will be joining the band as support act for the entire tour.
Meanwhile, the band will be spending New Years Day in Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field when they perform at the NHL Winter Classic pre-game show, which will have the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals battling out in the rink for the main event. The event will also feature Jackie Evancho of “America’s Got Talent” fame performing the American national anthem, Steven Page performing the Canadian national anthem and The Clarks performing during the game’s halftime break.
