Guns n’ Roses Breaks Out ‘Chinese Democracy’ in Canada

Axl and company have chosen to bypass their American brethren for the great white north, staking a claim on a 13-date run in Canada. The frosty experience will get started in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 13th and mush its way to Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 4th. The dates have been dubbed as the beginnings of the “Guns n’ Roses Chinese Democracy World Tour.”

Presales will rev up on October 21st with prices ranging from $49.50 to $89.50 before Ticketmaster levies their absorbent cut. The band is expected to begin rehearsing in Los Angeles shortly as they set their sights on Southeast Asia with a December 11th date in Taiwan.

“Chinese Democracy” is the band’s long awaited sixth album that was released on November 23, 2008. The album was fifteen years in the making and the New York Times declared it the most expensive recording never made, weighing in at an eye-popping $13 million.
