For spring next year, seasoned rock act Dropkick Murphys will be hitting the club circuit and conclude the run with a string of shows in celebration on St. Patrick’s Day in their home turf in Boston.

The band will kick off the spring series on February 23 at The Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls, followed by a string of shows in the Midwest including Chicago on February 27, Kansas City on March 2 and Cleveland on March 6, among others. The band will be back in the east coast with a show in Philly’s Electric Factory and NYC’s Roseland Ballroom scheduled for March 8 and 10, respectively. A show in DC is also set for the 12th which precedes the band’s three-night fest at the House of Blues in Boston from the 16th to the 18th where, along with their fellow chaps, they’ll be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with booze and the blues. The group will also be hitting Lowell, MA on the 19th to wrap things up.

Joining the band for the tour is punk-rock act Against Me!, except for the DC show. Another act, which will be named later, will also be joining the month-long trek.

This year, the band released the record “Live on Lansdowne, Boston, MA” which was a live compilation of the band’s performances during their seven-night Boston gig in 2009. The band is currently at the homestretch of their Australian jaunt which concludes on the 19th in Brisbane.
