Disturbed Axes US Concert Tour
Heavy metal icons Disturbed were forced to pull the plug off the US slate of their “Taste of Chaos” tour due to a throat condition that has kept their front man David Draiman in bad shape and unable to perform for four weeks, as per his doctor’s orders, according to a report by the Boston Globe.
The next four weeks that will now be devoted to Draiman’s recuperation, who was found to have a serious but treatable throat illness, will essentially cover the entire US leg of the band’s tour. No word yet from Live Nation, promoter of the said trek, if the US dates will be moved to later this year or early next year after the band wraps up their European trek or if it will be entirely canceled. As for those who have purchased their tickets for the US dates, an announcement still also has to be made concerning the new development and if ticket refunds will be available.
As mentioned, Disturbed fans across the pond can still jam with the metal rockers live and in the flesh when they head over to Europe for a slew of shows from November to December. Draiman is expected to be fit to perform by then.
