Daughtry, 3 Doors Down, P.O.D. Team Up for 19 City Tour
Daughtry and 3 Doors Down have teamed up for a co-headlining tour. Many dates on the tour also will feature P.O.D.
The tour will kick off November 17 in Tunica, Miss., and is scheduled to run through December 15 with a show in Anaheim. In between, the groups will visit San Antonio, Texas; Corpus Christi, Texas; Huntington, W.V.; State College, Penn.; Detroit; Chicago and Broomfield, Colo., among others.
The official website for 3 Doors Down notes that, “P.O.D. will not be appearing November 27 – December 3. Opening Act for those dates to be named shortly.”
“It an honor to be able to go on the road with 3 Doors Down,” said Chris Daughtry in a statement. “We are excited to give fans an energetic rock show every night sharing songs from both our catalogs… we can’t wait to hit the road to share it with our fans.”
3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold also shared his excitement in the press release.
“We’re very excited to hit the road with our friends, Daughtry,” Arnold said. “It’s an honor to be a part of this tour. I’m looking forward to this more than any tour we’ve been a part of in a very long time. I believe the fans will see more than two great rock bands on stage. The comradery of this tour will, no doubt, shine through night after night. We want to give the fans more than they came to see. We want them all to leave knowing they’ve just witnessed something special.”
Daughtry just finished touring in Europe with Nickelback, and will be supporting its third album, Break the Spell, which was released in November of last year.
3 Doors Down will soon be releasing its first greatest hits album, and the group’s website notes that fans can expect hits like “Kryptonite” and “When I’m Gone,” as well as new songs including “One Light” and “Goodbyes.”
